Across the country tweets are reporting the
cancelation of numerous softball training sessions due to the horrific
weather. Only one tweet cheeps louder
than the others – Brum_Bobcats. “Rain or
shine, the Bobcats will be training this Thursday at Hallfield.” The Bobcat determination and enthusiasm is
like no other – rain, hail or snow will not stop these felines from doing what
they love. They may get bogged down on
waterlogged fields, they may slip while batting, they may unexpectedly slide
(along with the base) while base running and end up covered head to toe in mud
– but they do so with a grin and (after a quick check to make sure they are ok)
a cheer from the team.
That is Bobcat dedication, strength and team
spirit.
